Bremen, 05 December 2017 – Consultix GmbH has now been officially appointed as an "associated partner" of the research project “AUDITOR – European Cloud Service Data Protection Certification”. The project, under the auspices of the University of Kassel, is developing a certification procedure for a European data protection certification that is suitable for cloud services. The associated partners include the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI), PricewaterhouseCoopers GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft and the Independent Centre for Data Protection in Schleswig-Holstein.

We want to support the request to develop a Europe-wide uniform certification under integration of the established standards in order to create clarity and legal certainty for cloud services ", says Andres Dickehut, managing partner of Consultix GmbH. Half a year before the new EU General Data Protection Regulation comes into force, the market offers a "barely manageable jungle of offers and certifications".
