German Direct Marketing Association (DDV)

Since 2003, Consultix is a member of Member of the German Direct Marketing Association (DDV). The Association focuses on CRM and Direct Marketing aspects.
The DDV represents the interests of service providers and advertising firms of the direct marketing industry. It bundles questions from practice, promotes exchange of experiences and cares for a balance of interests between economics and consumers.

Obligatory quality standards and codes of ethics for DDV members guarantee high-quality direct marketing. Besides this, the association develops concepts of the consumer protection, for example the letterbox sticker "no advertisement" or the information brochure "Auf direktem Weg (on direct way)". The entry into the "Robinson list" protects the consumer further against unwanted commercials addressed to him.

For a long time, DDV engages itself for an expedient data security, which considers the data security concerns of consumers and the interests of the economy. The influential position of the association shows up in particular in the successful co-ordinations with the Deutschen Post AG and the Deutschen Telkom AG in the politics and on European level in Brussels.

The DDV is member of the ZAW (Central Association of the German Advertising Economy) and of the IFDMA (International Federation of Direct Marketing). As a member of the FEDMA (Federation of European Direct Marketing) the DDV is playing a key role at European level and it is a competent partner of the European Union commission.
