ICANN published the final Rights Protection Mechanism (RPM) Requirements for new gTLD registries, enabling trademark holders to protect their rights during the Domain Name System expansion.
From April until September ICANN requested and considered input from the community at two ICANN meetings, an open consultation conference call and a formal public comment, as well as taking into consideration comments by individuals and stakeholder groups.
