Consultix joins the Alliance for Cyber Security |
25.06.2014
Since the NSA affair, it has become clear that current information and Internet technologies do not sufficiently reduce IT security risks. This means that malware can attack users’ computers without any hindrance. Users continue to be spied on, listened to and defrauded by email or stolen identities. These cyber attacks represent a real threat to privacy and thus too for personal integrity and the material possessions of all Internet users. Hackers, industrial spies or other criminals, not to mention governments, also exploit gaps in IT security to pursue their own interests and achieve their political goals.
Consultix has joined the Alliance for Cyber Security to gain access to its wealth of information on protective measures and best practices and to benefit from an exchange of experiences with other participants. In this way, Consultix is better placed to face the damaging consequences of cyberwar and industrial espionage.
The Alliance for Cyber Security is an initiative by the Federal Office for Information Security, which was founded in cooperation with Federal Association for Information Technology, Telecommunications and New Media (BITKOM). It brings together all of the key players in the field of cyber security in Germany and aims to provide current and valid information across the board. The Alliance for Cyber Security ensures the establishment of a comprehensive pool of information and supports the exchange of experiences between participants and partners.
