The Consultix IT-Mittelstufenpreis for Digital Transformation of the Europaschule Schulzentrum SII Utbremen will be awarded

Bremen, August 13, 2018 - For the eleventh time the Europaschule Schulzentrum SII Utbremen awards the IT-Mittelstufenpreis for Digital Transformation. For the second time, Bremen-based IT and marketing service provider Consultix is presenting this prize for young talent. Compared to the previous year, the number of participating project groups has almost doubled, so that the jury currently has to decide between 11 digital projects.

A mixed jury consisting of the school management and the management of Consultix will award prizes to three of the eleven very different IT projects. The range of projects submitted is astonishingly diverse: Bremen's young IT professionals have developed an application generator, an appointment and event planning tool, a smart home application, a specific planning tool for teachers and even a task distribution tool for student residences. Current technology trends such as IoT Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, game theory and crypto currencies were also incorporated into the innovative students' projects.
"The competition should additionally motivate the students to work in a team-oriented manner, to apply the project management methods and to advance their project," says Harm Hörnlein-Roboom, project manager of the IT Mittelstufenpreis at the Europaschule Schulzentrum SII Utbremen. Bremen-based Consultix GmbH will be on the scene as a sponsor for the second time. "We were already enthusiastic last year about the ingenuity and practical relevance of the ideas. We are delighted to support the "Jugend forscht" character of the competition and I am convinced that this will have a positive impact on the CV after graduation," says Andres Dickehut, managing partner of the digital specialist.

Three of the eleven projects will be awarded next Thursday, 16 August 2018, starting at 4 p.m. in the tower hall of the Bremen Cotton Exchange. Our media partners are cordially invited!
